concept

Fussballstagen.lu is an association whose aim is to offer top quality football courses to 7 to 11 year-olds.

Graduate educators and coaches coach children by teaching them as much as possible within a week. Children can then apply what they have learnt during their future careers in football.

The primary goal is to teach children everything they need to know about football by using techniques such as Life Kinetik, the ABC's of running, games based on cooperation as well as fair play training.

coaches

Thomas Muller

I started in 2009 as the coach of the U-11 in Weiler-Izeg. I'm now coaching U-17 in Mondercange team after some time in Schifflange and at the RFCUL. I also took classes for the A licence in athletics- and functional training in Germany. I'm currently doing a training course at the FLF to obtain the UEFA B licence.

Eric Chrisnach

I started in 2006 as the coach of the U-9 in Mensdorf. This is my 10th season as a coach. I'm currently undergoing training at the FLF to get my UEFA B coaching licence in order to coach players in the best possible way.

Amy Thompson

Born in 1994, active player at Stone Brook University in the USA after playing in Saarbrücken (Germany) for some time.

I want to encourage young girls to play football and instil in children all the valuable advice I was given throughout my experiences.

Lex Steffes

Born in 1991, currently an active player in Mensdorf.

I've been coaching the youth categories of the 'Entente Osten' for the past 4 years. As I have a C1 coaching licence, I have the skills required to train and coach children up to the age of 13.

coaching

In addition to football technique, at that age, other aspects are also essential, i.e. the ABC's of running, Life Kinetik, coordination and teamwork. All these different aspects are highlighted in our courses.

1. Technique

Key aspects of technical training are passing, ball control and dribbling. Emphasis is placed on the ability to play with both feet.

2. ABC's of running

Running is a cornerstone of football. ABC's of running exercises, also referred to as learning to run, consist in basic technical exercises, through which running movements can be trained and optimised.

3. Life Kinetik

Another cornerstone is to quickly make the right decision. This ability is trained using Life Kinetik, a specific brain training method that promotes the ability of visual absorption and cognitive reflection through movement.

4. Coordination

Coordination is essential. Each player must be able to react to any situation in the best possible way. This goal can only be achieved through coordination training.

5. Teamwork

As a team sport, football requires teamwork from each player, as well as fellowship and fair play. Games based on cooperation teach this to children.

More broadly speaking, a healthy diet and activities aside from football are also part of coaching. In light of this, three meals are served daily and board games are offered on a regular basis.

vision

The idea of the ASBL Fussballstagen.lu is essentially rooted in the will to provide high-range football training to all children from 7 to 11 years of age (equivalent to 'the golden age of learning').

We believe that our young team of professional coaches, coupled with our innovative concept, is able to provide such training.

Our goal is to attract a maximum of clubs and children, and contribute to their training as football players.
